Long time reader and contributor Iniard has finally roken down and registered his own domain. He had been on Blogger for the longest time, and reported that he is in the market for a new banner for his new blog. If you are graphic savvy, and have some Ideas, feel free to post it here or use the contact us option. His new blog is at www.iniardwatch.com

29 JanHottest Husband Contest

vote for gregMy wife was browsing through her stamping forums that she likes to visit, and she came across this thread asking people to vote for her husband in this Hottest Husband Contest. She went to check it out, and discovered that it was a contest being put on by a local radio station in our town.

Upon further review, she found that a good friend of mine, who I haven’t talked to in a while is on there as well. (His name is Greg) I told her at first that I wouldn’t vote, I’m not gay. Then I decided that I will go ahead and vote anyway.

My wife also thought I should blog about it, and ask for your vote. So, if you don’t mind, go to the contest page and vote for Greg. There’s nothing to do really besides select “Greg“.

BTW-No, I’m not gay.

28 JanThe Person Above You Comment Game

I was inspired by Michele and a thread in Digitalpoint forums to start a comment game of my own. I registered www.thepersonaboveyou.com and it works in a similar fashion. Basically, you visit the blog of the person above you (in comments) then comment on that blogger or their blog and the chain gets longer and longer.

28 JanWordPress Theme

Well, I think I’m finished with my first wordpress theme. It’s called Lava, and I’m entering it in a theme competition. If you want it, you can download it here.

Let me know what you think about it!

Lava

28 JanWho’s Michele?

There has been a big craze going around the blog comment world. It’s called Michele. This is a game where you post in the comments, then post in the comments of the blogger above you and mention the michele sent you.

I just posted there, so this post will be an experiment so to say.

If it works out, I might make a thread about it in the forums.

28 JanSite Development Party

My wife thinks I am obsessed with my internet activitie. I wouldn’t consider 12-16 hours a day online obsessive. It’s just a hobby.

Tonight, I am hosting my forst SDP. SPD is Site Development Party.

I am having a couple of my brothers and their families over to work on website/blog development. I’m excited about it.

I am pretty well situated on my websites for right now, but I am in the process of building backlings for my sites.

Another project I thought I’d share is my WordPress theme. I am almost done making my first WordPress theme, and it’s called “Lava”. I’ll post more on it when It’s done.

26 JanBradsblog Forums Now Open

I have decided to go ahead with opening up a new feature to Bradsblog. The Forums.

I have set up topics to discuss things that I have blogged about, as well as left it open to discuss anything else.

Feel free to check it out!

Anyone can read posts, but you need to register in order to post. I am asking for people to give it a test and let me know about any problem you encounter.

I have also added a link in the sidebar.

25 JanI watched Love Monkey

I am not an artsy type, so I was reluctant to watch the new CBS show, Love Monkey. In fact, after I saw the previews for it, I added it to my “never watch this” list.

Last night, I found myself bored and watching it. Something strange happened, I LIKED IT! The show really wasn’t as bad as I figured it would be. In fact, I’m going to set my DVR to record these shows so I can watch them at my convenience.

24 JanI have re-done Blog-hints and sold Stampingallery!

Once again, I have totally reworked my Blog-hints site. About the only thing that has remained intact is the forums. If you aren’t aware, Blog-hints is a site designed to help new bloggers get going.

On another note, I have sold my Stampin’ site. I sold this becasue my lovely wife would not help me with it, and I have no interest in the subject. I sold it for $40.(a bargain I believe)

23 JanWebsite Review – Holdembonus.com

The last in this series of reviews is a gambling/card playing site. This is not a site where you go to play cards, it is a site where you learn a lot about the game.

I’ll give a breakdown of the different areas of this site.

Poker Rooms – Gives reviews and details about all the major online poker rooms.

Texas Hold ‘em – Goes a bit deeper than the title suggests. The explain the games of Texas Hold ‘em, Omaha and 7 card stud.

Poker Bonus – Provides you with different poker room discounts and promotions.

Poker Books – You can view different poker books for sale through Amazon.com.

You can also keep track of your favorite poker players and how they are winning in the Famous Poker Players area.

I like this site. There are many videos to watch. The only drawback is that with using Firefox as a browser, the videos automatically start. However, this is not a reflection of the site.
