03 FebWebsite Review – Voip-news-net.com

This morning I decided to do a review on a website called www.voip-news-net.com.

I wasn’t clear on exactly what VOIP was, so I took the opportunity to learn a little bit about it while I was here.

I learned that VOIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol, and this site seems to cover it all.

This website is set up in a blog format, and although it does have a bit of advertising on it, the ads are very relevant and aren’t overbearing so I’ll give it a pass.

There are a total of fourteen different categories, ranging from How VOIP Works to VOIP service providers.

I learned that VOIP is an excellent way to communicate abroad while keeping telephone rates very low. This also seems to be a growing trend and we should expect to see a lot more of this in the years to come.

As far as the website, I found it very informative and if you are interested in learning more about VOIP, it’s worth a read.

02 FebT-Mobile Air Card

One of the biggest problems I have been faced with, is my lack of internet connection while away from my home. This problem has crippled my blogging as well as my website building activities. I think I may be on the verge of a breakthrough.

I contacted my cellular phone provider, T-Mobile this week and inquired about a data plan. What this would allow me is to buy a PC card, (GC-89 PC card) that fits in my notebook and picks the internet out of the air. This service will cost me 29.99 per month on top of the initial hit I’ll have to take on buying the card. The card costs $279.

I will keep posting on this as the details become clear and I make moves to get this going.

01 FebState of the Union

As I was watching the State of the Union Address last night, I thought is was an embarrassment, and seemed a bit immature for all the Libs to applaud weh George talked about the Social Security issue not geting resolved. Does it mean that they are glad there is a major problem with it?
