Air War in Iraq?

Norman Solomon wrote an article I read today called Hidden in Plane Sight: US Media Dodging Air War in Iraq. He claims in his article that the American media is underreporting-in fact not reporting, an increase in bombings of hostile targets in Iraq. He is basing this on supposed keyword searched for the words “Air War”. He fails to realize that and Air War is when two nations are engaging in air to air combat, not one nation merely dropping bombs on enemy targets. An increase in an air war would suggest that the terrorists and insurgent have somehow picked up a few fighter jets and are engaging in dog-fights with US military aircraft.
