OK, so I was checking my blog this morning, and out of the corner of my eye was this unfamiliar ad. My Feedburner button had turned into an ad! I would be very surprised if this was not a hack into the feedburner site. This is the first time I have seen something like this, so I had to screen shot it.

Update:
By the time I got this posted, they had corrected the problem. Quick rebound feedburner!!

Wow, that’s super weird. Thanks for capturing it in a screenshot! We’re looking into it right now.

Let me assure you that there’s no way we’d ever do anything like that! I’m guessing that either a local cache got screwed up or some proxy between here and there. We’re still looking into it, but we didn’t actually “do” anything to either 1) make that appear or 2) make it disappear. That’s awesome that you grabbed it in a screenshot, though!

I din’t think it was intentional. With as many button links to feedburner out there, if someone hacked the button for only a few minutes in an off-hour, they might benefit from it none the less.
