It has been my experience with different diets that they want you to weigh yourself no more than once weekly. I have come to believe that this thinking is nothing more than a conspiracy to keep you fat.
Some might argue, they are trying to get you thin, but are they?
If you’re not fat, they don’t make money on you.
I feel that if you are trying to lose weight, it is essential that you weigh in DAILY! Doing so will allow you to see weight gain early and nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand.
The reasoning behind jumping on the scale every week I that they don’t want you to get discouraged from your diet after a small increase in weight.
I can see the reasoning; I have been a bit discouraged myself. I have eaten al the right things, but still seemed to have gained. I have programmed myself to believe that this is either muscle growth or my body retaining water.
After all is said and done, you’re going to do what you want. I’m just offering you an explanation behind my thoughts.

It is important to wiegh yourself in the same way, at the same time everyday. And you shouldn’t be wearing anything, as clothes actually do have wieght. I have a scale in the bathroom, and I hop on after my shower each morning.
I agree though- if you are slim, and stay slim, you don’t need their products.

Hi!
Today was actually the first time that I’ve weighed myself in gosh knows how long. Seriously years, not including Dr visits, which any weight amount noted at my last few visits totally escapes me. Or I didn’t want to hear it. I know I’ve gained weight slowly over the last 8 years, but it wasn’t really until now that it bothered me much.
I am planning on weighing myself everyday. And I’m tracking my process, every painful detail in my blog that I just started as well.
