I was listening to the interview with Mike Wallace today on the Sean Hannity show, and they were discussing his recent interview with Iranian madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I was completely floored with the way Wallace was portraying this evil menace as a peae loving man who didn’t wish harm on Jews. Can there be a greater disconect with reality?

06 AugP-nut took a spill
Well, for those who don’t know me personally, my youngest son will be two years old this month. The other day, he took a fall(we think off the couch) and he ended up with a spiral fracture on is femur.
We took him to the local Childrens Hospital outpatient care place, they did up some X-rays and started him on morphine. They though it wold be best not to move him too much, so P-nut got his first ride in an ambulance! My wife rode with him downtown Cincinnati to the hospital, and I met them there.
Shortly after we arrived, the medical staff decided that surgery was not required, but instead they opted for a spica cast.
We had to stay overnight, while the cast set up and they also wanted to keep an eye on him. In the morning, they wanted to make sure he went to the bathroom and was eating/drinking. After the morning, he still was not eating so they decided that his cast was to tight around his diaper area, as well as his tummy. This resulted in a horrifying experience, becasue there was a team of about four grown men come into the room with ower equipment to trim up his cast! They split open the part of the cast around his belly and placed wedges in it and re-wrapped it.
Finally, abut 10PM we were released from the hospital. Obviously, he can’t walk around or anything, but he has found some comfort in sitting in a simple umbella stroller.
He is to be in this cast for 4-6 weeks and we hope time flies!
Here is a picture of P-nut after getting home from the hospital-

12 JulLinkTracker
About two months ago I posted on Digital Point forums a requst for a link sales sript, one that I can keep track of text links that people pay to display on my sites.
Recently someone replied that they had written such a script and it’s called Linktracker. I bought this script to run on a website that I use only for selling such links.
The program is basic in nature, but is effective for it’s purpose.
After I uploaded the program, I had a little difficulty getting everything going, but that was because I use Dreamhost as a webhost, and I have found that they are a bit goofy with some things.
The guy who wrote the script was very supportive, and even rewrote some of the code to suit my specific server needs.
Overall, I am quite pleased with this, and would recommend it to anyone looking for such a product.
You can view screenshots, and learn more about it by visiting http://drawmedia.com/linktracker.
06 JunNew Hampshire
I was sent to the rainy, chilly state of New Hampshire for two weeks to attend a class for some new equipment getting installed at my job. We flew in this weekend to Manchester Airport and checked into the Hampton Inn in Portsmouth.
I have to say, the hotel is very nice, I always like the WiFi service they offer.
I’m not going to go on about the hotel, or the local restaurants I visited, but instead I’d like to just make a mention of the state in general. There are some pros and cons with this state, as I have seen the last few days.
Cons:
There are too many people around here riding bicycles. Get a motorcycle, or a car, or if you insist on riding a bicyle, GET OFF THE ROAD!
There are too many Democrats. I left my George Bush sirts at home because I new this was a liberal town. I knew for sure I was in trouble when I was driving around and on the same trip, I saw some people practicing Lacrosse in their front yard and a few miles down the street I saw a home with a huge croquet game setup int heir back yard. I’m not talking about the kind you pull out for outdoor gatherings, I’m talking about a major setup going on!
To top it off, when I was at Applebees eating my dinner, there were some guys at the bar playing Yahtzee! Do I need to go on about that?
Pros:
Yes, there are some pros to New Hampshire.
First, I liked the airport.
I also think that althought the people here are strange, they are generally nicer than other places.
Everywhere seems to be cleaner. Less trash on the ground, etc. There are plenty of restaurants, that aren’t crowded. I ave seen many nice houses as well!
Good place to visit, I’d have to assess the tax situation before I would think about living here. As I understand it, you don’t pay sales tax but you get dragged over the coals on personal property taxes.
Anyone with any insight on this or have any comments on New Hampshire, please feel free to comment on it.
27 MayWebsite Review – www.therumormill.info

I took some time reserching this site, because I am quite familiar with the topic. The AK Steel lockout. This is a discussion forum that serves as a portal for the union men and women to stay connected during an ongoing labor dispute, and is simply known as “The Rumor Mill“. You must register to be able to view the forums, but it is an excellent way to show support.
The Rumor mill was created shortly after the lockout began because union members had no place of their own to communicate and stay informed. It started out parked at www.thepersonaboveyou.com, then moved to www.therumormill.net. They experience hosting issues and after moving to a new server, they landed at www.therumormill.info.
Not only are active union members taking part in the board, but retirees, spouses, area resident and just plain curious people!
I recommend showing yor support, and check it out at www.therumormill.info
07 MarWebsite Review – Nascarspace.com
The next website review I am doing is a NASCAR themed discussion forums site called www.nascarspace.com.
The home page of this site offers users an opportunity to register, view ongoing polls, and get a snapshot of the latest posts in the forums. I’ve found it very helpful to look up more info on auto parts.
I went on the the main board, where I found the forum broken up into several different categories.
Aside from the general announcements, the first category alows you to discuss Nextel Cup news and schedules.
The General Nascar and stuff category offers topics related to general chat and nascar rules.
There are also forums that focus on different races, drivers and finally an area to post items for sale, and things you need.
The design of this site is different and interesting. I like the header, the images and general layout. The website seems to be in it’s youth and I think it has a lot of potential. I will revisit this site and possibly take part in the forums.
07 MarWebsite Review – Dieselsmoke.com
Todays review is of the website called www.dieselsmoke.com.
This website deals with information on everything you would want or need about diesel peformance.
The home page allows you to launch into specific parts of diesel equipment, including diesel exhaust, chips, tuner and brakes, to name a few.
There is a shop page, where I can assume you can purchase diesel products, but at the time of this review the page was unavailable. You have the ability to enter your vehicle information and search for different parts. This may be something worth revisiting at a later time.

By navigating to the Performance Info page, you are able to read various diesel related articles for free.
Finally, there is a discussion board in this site that allows other users to communicate with each other. There are several categories, and aside from the general chat category, there are categories devoted to certain vehicle manufacturers and have topics ranging from feul systems, towing, to diesel maintenance and repair.
If you own diesel equipment, like tinkering as a hoby, this site is worth checking out.
28 FebWebsite Review – Ledgerservices.co.uk

The next website review I’llbe doing is that of www.ledgerservices.co.uk. For this particular website, I will first review to design and layout, then I will discuss the content.
Layout and Design – First impressions go a long way with me. This site impressed me. With the flash animation in the header, the sleek design of the main page I knew right away that this site was not just thrown together on a whim.
I was put to a strong challenge by reviewing this site. This site offers many different accounting/bookkeeping software packages and services, and I have no experience in this field. It took me a while to read and learn about the focus of this site.
Content – There is a lot of information packed into this website. The amount of different software packages they offer seems to be quite a bit. Here are some of the different areas of the site I explored.
The Sage Software overview page decribes the various Sage Software options available and include Sage Line 50, ACT and Sage Personnel to name a few.
I went on to check out the Bookkeeping tab and learned that Ledger servies not only provides accounting software, but they also have a staff that provides book keeping services.
I could probably on on for hours describing all the different services and software packages they provide, but I will just recommend checking the site out for yourself. If you are in the accounting industry, this is a site you should surely visit.
