The conspiracy Theorist inside me is going nuts ever since Bolivia elected its new president, Evo Morales. Evo Morales has promised to be a nightmare for the United States. Here is something for you to chew on, as I have.
1-1-06 This week gets underway by the announcement that Evo Morales aligns politically with Cuban President Fidel Castro. He tops it off with a special meeting with Bush-hater Hugo Chavez, who is the Venuzuelan President turned dictator.
On the other side of the Axis of Evil, North Korea’s President/Dictator Kim Jong-il is making a secret trip to China and Russia.
This is all happening as Evo Morales is also scheduled to visit China.
It seems all of America’s favorites are meeting up to discuss “issues”. I would sure like to be a fly on the wall when they all sit down together, as does the Bush administration.
When they start getting together with Iran and Syria, I don’t think it will be ignored anymore.
Are they planning something? Or am I just reaching.

They are probably getting together with democratic strategists to talk about how they can help with the 2008 elections. Militarily all they can do is flick boogers at us like a bunch of Iniards!

So many people underestimate the military power held by Iran and China. Both of these nations would be formidable opponents.

Oh please- the US is not the owner of the globe- let countries do thier own thing, think their own minds.
Think about spam- if it was illegal to buy stuff from spam, it would grind to a hault. It would be more effective for the US to step up the war on drugs in their own land than try and eradicate use of the drug, rather than try and wipe out a traditonal plant (which happens to be used to make cocaine).
Evo might actually be able to do something to help the poorest of the poor- native Bolivians. If anything, I predict the political climate will be stabler.
I remind you that there is so much anti-US feeling (in the world, and particularly in South America) because of the US and US policy.
The US freaks out too much. And, consequently, overreacts.

[…] As I stated in my post about the new axis of evil, I was afraid of the time when Iran got into the mix. Now, the Iranian President is visiting with Syria. Welcome to the mix. Related Posts […]
