This is the post that many will call me a racist for writing.
I sat through the pre-game show, but decided I had enough when the Star Spangled Banner turned into gospel hour. What is a white man supposed to watch?
Don’t get me wrong I understand they are trying to show the history of Detroit, but this is the Superbowl! Put someone up there that we all want to see.
I also noticed the special moment of silence for Rosa Parks and the late Mrs. King. Wasn’t there anyone else that died this year that might deserve a mention? Maybe the troops who were killed in Iraq?
This degree of political correctnes has me a bit pissed off.

I think Aritha did a good job its that other guy that sounded like crap……….as far as the deaths, thats a matter of opinion.

How about all the other years that country singers took over and it seemed to be a show only white people would want to see and hear? Jagger at half time? I’m sure ghettos across America were jumping up and down during that show…
You can’t please everyone every time. This was once. I could see you being upset if it were every year. But once?
