In recent years, Halloween has become a major holiday for more than just children eager to get some free candy. Grown up are getting into it full swing. While many are dressing themselves up, going out with their kids or throwing big Halloween parties, many more are going all out in their neighborhoods. There were quite a few in my area that had the big inflatable yard decorations, lights, sound systems, etc. Trick or treat night didn’t require much begging. My neighbors rolled out their patio fire pit and served up hot cocoa to any that wanted it. Down the street, people were serving up hot dogs. I like this! I am thinking maybe next year I’ll serve up hot soup or something like that.
