I have been a loyal reader over at Performancing.com ever since they got going. (For those who don’t read it, Performancing is a blog for professional bloggers). I have seen Performancing ads on Technorati, and they seem to be popping up on other blogs as well.
It dawned on me today, while I was reading a post there, that they have no ads of any kind on their site. My instinct was that they make money from affiliates and referrals. I looked around and no sign of it. I checked their FAQ’s and About Page and the only thing I turned up was that the business model is still a work in progress. My only question is who is paying the bills and how long will they maintain the site plus the cost of advertising it without revenue?

It’s an interesting little mystery isn’t it?
The simple answer to your Q Brad is that we’re funded through private investment. There is indeed a business model, but we’re just not ready to reveal it yet.
What I can say is though, it’s not showing ads or aff links in our content, and you’ll like it when it happnens.
Glad you like the site so thanks for participating!
