FDA-Answer the Question!

After reading the article in the New York Times Editorial: Strange Behavior at the F.D.A., I can’t help but hope this story gets some traction. In my opinion, the FDA is the most corrupt of all federal agencies. The problem is nobody seems to care. Every once in a while, a bad drug gets through and a bunch of people die, but the payoffs have already happened.
Senators are so quick to call for an independent investigation on every tragedy that happens in America, so why should the FDA get off the hook.
The article doesn’t speak about payoffs, but it does question reasons given by the FDA’s top brass decision to keep the controversial “morning after pill” from being sold over the counter.
Whether it be corporate payoffs, or in this case making decisions based on theology that are historically been made on scientific information, there are a lot of questions that need answered.
